Pedaling through the Solar System to Scale
A downloadable project
Ever wondered how vast our Solar System truly is?
Pedaling Through the Solar System turns that question into a hands-on experience.
This project brings a physical twin to the digital model of the Solar System’s scale, letting you pedal your way across space.
Using a space rover prototype, you can travel from the Sun to Neptune by physically pedaling
Every pixel on the accompanying website represents 1,000 km in real life, making this an immersive way to grasp the enormous distances between planets.
Experience the Solar System at Scale:
Pedaling → Activates the spaceship engine—the faster you pedal, the faster you travel.
Switch → Change flight direction (toward the Sun or Neptune).
Brake Button → Slow down and stop at the spaceship.
